La reine des bals (a French scottish)

Late at night, playing this Frédéric Paris scottish (which, if you remember, is a French dance, not a scottish one). It’s somewhat rough, but I love its mid-tempo gallumpiness.

… and the Centaur Played Accordéon!

Ron Evry is a sort of cultural anthropologist and celebrator. He’s regularly surfacing humorous gems from the public domain past. He recently posted this piece by artist Heinrick Kley. At a Heinrich Kley online gallery, this line drawing was also found.
